Find Minimum Value of an Array

In the following example, we will find the minimum value of an array (arr).

Example

C Compiler
#include <stdio.h> int main() { int i, min; int arr[5] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}; min = arr[0]; for(i=1; i<5; i++) { if(min > arr[i]) min = arr[i]; } printf("Minimum value of Array: %d", min); return 0; }

In the following example, we will get any five integer values from the user and return the minimum value among those.

Example

C Compiler
#include <stdio.h> int main() { int i, min, arr[5]; printf("Enter any 5 (int) numbers:\n"); for(i=0; i<5; i++) scanf("%d", &arr[i]); min = arr[0]; for(i=1; i<5; i++) { if(min > arr[i]) min = arr[i]; } printf("Minimum value of Array: %d", min); return 0; }
