The jQuery :nth-last-child() selector selects all elements that are the nth-child, regardless of type, of their parent, counting from the last element to the first.

Syntax

$(":nth-last-child(index|even|odd|equation)")

Parameter Values

ValueExplanation
indexSpecifies the index of each child to match.
The first element has the index number 1.
evenSelects each even child element.
oddSelects each odd child element.
equationSpecifies which child element(s) to be selected with a equation (an + b).
