The desaturate()
function makes a given color less saturated.
Example

color: desaturate(#d2e1dd, 1%);
color: desaturate(#d2e1dd, 25%);

Syntax
desaturate($color, $amount)
Parameter Value
Value | Type | Explanation |
---|---|---|
$color | Required | Specifies a color. |
$amount | Required | Specifies the amount to decreases the HSL saturation of $color. The $amount must be a number between 0% and 100% (both are inclusive). |
Return Value
Value | Explanation |
---|---|
color | Returns the desaturate color. |
