The desaturate() function makes a given color less saturated.

Example

SASS TO CSS CONVERTER
.foo{ color: desaturate(#d2e1dd, 1%); color: desaturate(#d2e1dd, 25%); }

Syntax

desaturate($color, $amount)

Parameter Value

$colorRequiredSpecifies a color.
$amountRequiredSpecifies the amount to decreases the HSL saturation of $color. The $amount must be a number between 0% and 100% (both are inclusive).

Return Value

colorReturns the desaturate color.
