Find Minimum Value of an Array

In the following example, we will find the minimum value of an array (arr).

Example

Python Compiler
arr = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] min = arr[0] for i in range(0, 5): if(min > arr[i]): min = arr[i] print("Minimum value of Array: %d" % min)

In the following example, we will get any five integer values from the user and return the minimum value among those.

Example

Python Compiler
arr = [] # number of elements as input print("Enter any 5 (int) numbers: ") # iterating till the range for i in range(0, 5): ele = int(input()) arr.append(ele) min = arr[0] for i in range(0, 5): if(min > arr[i]): min = arr[i] print("Minimum value of Array: %d" % min)
